When it comes to best albums of the year I try to include the albums I honestly listened to unabashedly on repeat throughout the year. Sleater-Kinney and Courtney Barnett topped it. I also only got into Of Monsters and Men after catching them at Osheaga this summer and then being lucky enough to attend an invite-only acoustic duo at CityFolk with about another dozen people there… and it was amazing.
